Watch Ukrainian short animations from the time both “before and after the war”, when VAF joins Århus Festuge. Through film, music and, art we can build bridges and try to understand each other.
Much changed on February 24th when Russia invaded Ukraine. Polina Kalmykova came to Denmark after the outbreak of the war. In Ukraine she was an aspiring actress and producer. During Århus Festuge she will be presenting Ukrainian animated short film in collaboration with Viborg Animation Festival. The films tell of stories far from our daily life and put matters into perspective or make us ask questions. The titles in this program are selected together with the Ukrainian Animation Festival, Linoleum.
The event is taking place in “Kuplen” in the town hall park.
