Join us for the West Danish premier of the award wining animated documentary “Flee”. A very special story about being a refugee, homosexual and having the past haunt you.

Through a series of interviews Amin is confronted by his past, a past he has never told anyone about, not even his husband to be, Kasper. As a child Amin and his family flees war torn Afghanistan and ends up alone in Denmark with a cover story and is intimidated to never reveal the truth. It is a ride through a haunted past that reveals an emotional life story.

“Flee” is a part of the film competition program and is nominated for Best Feature at Viborg Animation Festival 2021. For more information on the films in competition, click here.

The screening on the 01.10 will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Jonas Poher Rasmussen.
