Urban Sketching in Viborg

Together we illustrate Viborg Midtby – one drawing at a time

Have you seen the spire in St. Mogens Gade or the lion heads fountain in Latinerhaven? Do you stop and really take the time to look around, when you walk the streets of Viborg?

Bring paper and your favorite drawing tool and spend an exciting Saturday with the Aarhus Urban Sketchers when they join us in Viborg with the purpose of inspirering us to see the city in a completely different way.

This free event is open to anyone who wants to slow down, observe and draw anything – buildings, people, tree, you name it. Anyone can participate, regardless of drawing-experience. The only requirement is the desire to draw together with others. We look forward to drawing with you!

Program:

• 13.00: Introduction at Hjultorvet
• 13.10-15.00: Draw Viborg city centre
• 15.10-15.30: We gather and do a ‘throw down’ – and show each other what we have created

Notes:
Bring your own paper and drawing material, and remember to dress for the weather. A folding chair can also be nice to have.
